Acetic Acid Water 0.6% 3mL

Description

Dilute acetic acid water is the standard laboratory diluent for peptides that will not go into solution in plain or bacteriostatic water. Lowering the pH moves the solution away from the peptide’s isoelectric point, which is where solubility is at its minimum. It is the conventional choice for compounds such as AOD-9604 and for acetate salt forms that leave undissolved material in neutral water.

Supplied as a 3 mL vial at 0.6%, the concentration used across the research supply market. Unlike bacteriostatic water it contains no preservative, so it is intended for single-vial reconstitution rather than repeated withdrawal.
